Mijn naam is Lieke Bijnen en ik ben 19 jaar. Ik studeer Dier en Veehouderij aan de HAS in Den Bosch in de richting Wildlife.
Sinds maart 2010 werk ik bij Roofvogelpark en Valkerijcentrum Falconcrest. Hier heb ik vier weken stage gelopen, maar na die vier weken kon ik het werk, de mensen en de vogels daar niet meer missen en heb ik gevraagd of ik mocht blijven werken. En guess what..? Het mocht! 
Nu werk ik er al bijna een jaar en ik heb het er nog steeds ontzettend naar mijn zin!
Vanaf 29 augustus zal ik het werk daar toch voor tien weken moeten gaan missen… Ik ga namelijk op stage bij de Atlantic Whale Foundation op Tenerife!
Met deze blog zal ik jullie op de hoogte houden van de aanloop naar mijn stage en straks uiteindelijk van mijn stage zelf.

My name is Lieke Bijnen and I’m 19 years old. I am a Animal Husbandry student at HAS University in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, with Wildlife as specialization.
Since March of 2010 I work at Birds of prey and Falconry Centre Falconcrest. I have had an internship at the park for four weeks, but after that weeks I couldn’t miss the work, the people and the birds, so I asked if I could stay. And guess what..? I could!
I work there for almost a year now, and I still enjoy every moment.
From the 29th of August I have to miss the work at Falconcrest for ten weeks… Because of my internship at the Atlantic Whale Foundation at Tenerife!
With this blog I’ll keep you informed about the way to my internship and later my internship itself.
